Coming to Mont Saint-Michel

Located near Avranches, Mont Saint-Michel can be reached by car or by train from Pontorson, Dol de Bretagne or Avranches stations. By car, there is plenty of on-site parking and free shuttle buses to the Mont. Mont Saint-Michel is also accessible by bike, with several cycle routes passing through the area.

Shuttles are free and available from 7am to 1am (summer season times). In just 12 minutes, you'll be transported to La Merveille and its medieval village, passing through the tourist and shopping area of Mont Saint-Michel extramuros.
