Coming to Mont Saint-Michel

Located near Avranches, Mont Saint-Michel can be reached by car or by train from Pontorson, Dol de Bretagne or Avranches stations. By car, there is plenty of on-site parking and free shuttle buses to the Mont. Mont Saint-Michel is also accessible by bike, with several cycle routes passing through the area.

The car park
reserved for guests of our hotels

Private car parks, reserved for the guests of our hotels inside and outside the town centre, are available on the site of the Barracks outside the town centre. The rates applied are identical to those of the other Mont Saint-Michel car parks.

A South filtering access code is given to all customers at the time of booking, then sent by email 3 days before arrival.

When you arrive at Mont Saint-Michel, please check in at the Relais Saint-Michel's centralised reception desk.

The shuttle

Shuttles are free and available from 7am to 1am (summer season times). In just 12 minutes, you'll be transported to La Merveille and its medieval village, passing through the tourist and shopping area of Mont Saint-Michel extramuros.
